Lord-
Give me strength to bear this pain
thats showering down like springtime rain-
Fill my heart with your healing light
and surround my soul throughout the night-
Lean my head upon your shoulder
and guide me straightly past the boulders-
Help me trust my doctor's care
and the tender wisdom of my teddy bear-
Bless my home while I am gone
and keep my family from earthly harm-
Lift my spirit from this bed
And let your loving angels surround my head-
Defend my life in this royal battle
and I'll not be afraid to hear death's rattle-
Greet me gladly when testing's done
And I'll cheer aloud for the victory won-
If I don't live to see another day
I hope the world's happy that I came this way!
